Coffee Talk,Hawker Woks & Professor Talks Too Much Cock...

This is by far one of the most abominable professor i've met in NTU. From school of EEE. By far the worse tutor i've met...

Location: First year Laboratory S2-B4-01
Taks: Experiment E2 :To measure Magnetic Field in a Current Carrying Conductor.

1.Lab starts at 0830am, he strolls in at 0855am.

2. Does not apologise to the class of 20 students who have been waiting
nearly half an hour for him.

3.Gives a brief 10 minute demonstation on how to operate voltmeter,
ammeter, altenating current source, dc current source.

4.Expects his students who do not have any experience with the devices to immediately know how to operate and connect all of them.

5.Shouts and mocks at his students when they fail to connect the system
correctly. I was his first victim!!! He says, "This is wrong la, how can the.... connect to the ......You know wat ure doing anot???". Wat the hell, I'm paying $6000 a year to NTU for this man to treat me like dirt... Where is the professionalism...

6.Talks very loudly about the flaws of NTU when he's students are trying to calculate values and plot 3 graphs. He says stuff like, "NTU is going down the drain...all the funds are..., the school fees rise by 3%..., the management dun know wat the hell is going on...." Pls, give my ears a break... if you want to talk, go to the coffee shop and talk, or even better get a license and go to the Speaker's corner at People's park... Then maybe your boss Dr Su Guan Ming will come and listen to your views... otherwise pls keep your big mouth shut... Professor, do you need a undergrad to teach u manners? Looks like all the head knowledge you have isnt enough...

7.Continues to blare at more students for asking questions that he thinks are mediocre...

8. I go to hand up my report, he scolds the guy infront of me. When he sees my answers he asks me "Which island do you come from?". I look at him blank and he gives me a C- for my report. At least i didnt get D like some people did... I thought he meant wat he said as a joke, but i was certainly not amused. I decided to leave the lab to avoid conflict with him... Had a quiz coming up so i needed to study... Besides, he is going to mark my formal report which I need to hand up next week... didnt want to give a bad impression lest he give me a bad grade.

This man's conduct is unacceptable... I sincerely hope College of Engineering will look into this matter and ensure that he never opens his mouth again in class. That will make NTU a more condusive place for you and me.

First Class Training

One year on and life has changed dramatically. Now i'm a student who does projects and has to study for quizzes..

Recently, i read Apple's blog and was kinda recalling the times we had in army. The days where we were counting down our ord days... on somedays going back to bunk and sleep till 430pm after lunch.

My NS unit was a shitty place, some of the Naval Diver regulars there were assholes and some treated us like shit(i'm not saying all are like that, there are good pple ard too). There was one time in Taiwan when were already lying in bed at ard 11pm when we were forced to go downstairs to fall in. Then they sent us to the beach and made us strip to swimming trunks and then roll in the sand. After rolling in the sand we would put on our dive suits and continue rolling in the sand and then run into the sea as a form of punishment. The cycle repeated a few times... The feeling of having sand in ur trunks , in between your legs and on your face was sensational... There was this one time, one of the seniors from 20th batch was telling me how they were made to crawl around the parade square in the afternoon, because of that half of the company had blistered and bleeding palms. Crazy pple in NDU...
Nowadays I see those SAF advertisements on trains and on tv and they say SAF provides first class training, I wonder how many taxpayers in Spore they wanna continue to deceive...

I bet if i was Teo Chee Hean's son, none of them would dare to do that to me... All of the regulars will lose their jobs and only rightly so. For those going to enlist in NDU, i think u'll miss out on all that fun cause now got more rules enforced.

When we were bored some pple would do stuff like this(see pic above). A form of torture not only practiced in Camp Guatanamo on terrorist suspects by US interogators but also practiced by NSFs on each other in Spore. Guess who is the guy on top??? he's trying to stick the ET stick into his buddy's ass. Sick guy... Trying to kill his buddy even before the war starts...

The days in army were tough, shitty but then there was fun too. One might say "It was the worst of times, it was the best of times...." Back to work now...
