Sticky Situation

How to pick up and lose a girl in ten minutes.
10 easy steps. Tested and proven by me. Results guaranteed!!!

Setting: Zouk, Mambo Night.

Part I
1. On the dancefloor, you think that you have spotted your friend whom you've met in church. Tap on her shoulder as she walks past you.

2.You know her. You call her by her name.

3. She gives u a wierd look and walks way, dont worry, its a normal reaction. Rest assured she will be back. Be patient, wait for at least 15min.

4. Time's up, she comes back begging for you. You've accomplished half your mission. She grabs your hand and starts dancing with you. She's a happy girl now cause you can see her smiling, you're a happy man too... Both of you get very close cause the dancefloor is too crowded.

Part II

5. Now that you are happy that you're dancing with your friend, you look her in the eye and suddenly you realise that she's not your friend but someone who looks alot like her!!! Shit, what have u got yourself into?? Dun panic, You gotta get rid of her...

6.Act friendly, u dun want to break this stranger's heart. Continue dancing with her.

7. She wants you to meet her friends, don't follow her stay where you are.

8. She starts asking for your name and where u study. Tell her your name and tell her you study Engineering at NTU(absolutely essential!).

8. She rolls her eyes at you at the mere mention of Engineering. Its not the coolest course in the world. You've successfully turned her off when u mention your background.

9. She starts to look bored and starts looking around instead of looking you in the eye. She stops holding your hands and is no longer smiling at you... Well done, you've acheived social suicide when u mention Engineering.

10. She leaves you and disappears in the crowd. Mission accomplished. All within 15 minutes.
Busy busy busy.... that pretty much summarises my life right now...

22 is the number this year

Ok fun times over and school's abt to start in less than 24hrs. i'm going to blog abt the fun times i had over the whole of december... Maybe i'll start with the most recent.
Hmm how shud i start... Maybe a greeting to everyone to start 2006... Celebrated the first moments of 2006 with my jc first three mths frens...

Gathering on New Year's Eve:

Every year we have a gathering on New Year's Eve and the girls uaually book a room to drink and play cards, this year was no exception.. we were supposed to celebrate at RELC's hotel near orchard, however due to some unforseen circumstances we were left roomless... so much for getting a room for 60 bucks... SS and Wt made a dozen phone calls to hotels ard Spore but to no avail, all hope was nearly lost until we finally found a cheaper alternative, but the place had no reception, no air-con, no tv, no fridge, no room service... The hotel was located ard Jurong West near Boon Lay, the address...
Nanyang Avenue, Hall of Residence 2. It was a Hall-tel... (hears much applause for his joke). So anyway, we celebrated our new year in school cause we had no choice... played cards and drank a tad of vanilla vodka with red bull. That tasted like cough syrup cause we bought the non-carbonated red bull which was 1 dollar cheaper than the carbonated one which we shud have bought... Ended the night at 6am where we SS made us write our new year resolutions and put them in a bottle. The question is do people stick to their new year's resolutions??? maybe they do, but only for a short while, so wats the pt really? maybe we shud make resolutions every mth or maybe every week...

To Zhaocheng aka grassjelly, about the celebrations in Australia compared to Spore... I think i can understand why u said the celebrations are much better there, this judging from wat i saw this year at the esplanade and kallang river... it was not the best idea i've seen... perhaps the celebrations at Mt Faber this year would have been nicer... These photos taken from the bridge near the esplanade...

If u cant make out wat's in the photos, they are actually balls on water. Some pple wrote their wishes and then placed them in the balls floating on the Kallang river... Every ten minutes the balls will change colour because the light shining on the balls will change... Green, purple, yellow, etc... How exciting...
At 12 midnight there were fireworks and i was viewing them from marina sq. The 10min fireworks display was much better than this. Next yr, hopefully they can channel money to make the fireworks last for half an hour... then it will be worth waiting for the fireworks...
