So sad...

There are a few things that make me sad when I see them online.
Here's one...

Here's another... My class foto list for next semester.

Back to Ah Tiong land, the university that's trying to be the MIT of the east when they can't even provide decent lecturers and tutors that speak proper english.
And students are paying so much school fees to get this kind of tutors and lecturers. Maybe next time NTU should programme robots to give lectures and tutorials. I rather try my luck with robo-tutors...rather than cannot-speak-proper-english-tutors. Its so fustrating trying to figure out what they are trying to say especially when you are there trying to learn. Maybe some ministers should send their scholar children to NTU for a few semesters instead of going to overseas universities, then they will know what I mean and go complain to their parents. Oh I forgot, most scholars in NTU are from China and India. Where did the Sporeans go?

Ok anyway I feel bad that I keep slamming my school, let me think of some nice things to say abt my school in case any exchange students deciding to come to NTU for exchange read my entry.

WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT NTU.
Here's why, its location is superb. No one can argue that NTU's is well-located in the very pleasant industrial estate of Boon Lay. Boon Lay you will discover is a bustling and beautiful estate, many foreign workers like to hang around the Mrt station and one will be treated to a beautiful aroma of chocolate mixed with chemicals from the nearby industrial estate. Plus, one might be able to hear airplanes flying around since Tengah airbase is nearby, very pleasant for the ears. NTU is only fifteen minute bus ride (if you're lucky) from the Johor Bahru look alike bus interchange which only until recently is being upgraded to be fully air-conditioned.
Of the three universities in Spore, SMU being in town , NUS at Clementi, NTU's location stands out from the rest.

This place is in China, near the Tibetan border. Jiu Zhai Gou valley in spring time looks like this. Hopefully I can go there soon.
