Exams are round the corner again...
To get into the mood of exams, I have decided to post some tutorial questions here. I've always wanted to know how lecturers feel when they post questions online... Ok enough of cheap thrill...
Some random thoughts here... There's this girl in my maths class, think she's from malaysia or hongkong cause i heard her speak cantonese with her frens. I know i'll probably get fired for saying this but she's got a moustache and a beard.... Like a real moustache and beard and quite thick too... can't really look at her properly sometimes cause i wonder if she knows that she looks awfully wierd with those. . .

And group project.... My China groupmate is killing us with his low participation and low activity, high levels of criticsm of our use of the English language when we started writing our report and minimal output from him. For the whole report, he only did the cover page. And the first thing he did was to flip to the group evaluation form when we he saw the completed report. Tai guo fen le ba! mei liang xin de jia huo... Lang fei wo men xin jia ren de qian. Zhen meh dang scholar de! Send him home... He's wasting taxpayers' money.

Ok, so last week hasnt really been that good... I dont see a good week ahead too because there's a quiz coming up and presentation with the same group members. At least im thankful that my other group members are very hardworking. Thank you Peiyun and ThuNga for your hardwork, I appreciate it.

The masks we wear

No posts here recently cause ive been so busy studying for tests and catching up with tutorials. Just wanna say something I've observed recently.
I have noticed that some pple have come up to me and try to pretend that they dont study and havent put in any effort to do their work. Then they try to persuade me not to study too. I know who they are, I can see the hypocrisy in their eyes.
I just cannot understand what they are trying to prove. Maybe someone should give them a golden horse award for best actor or actress. I mean why are this pple so afraid of admitting that they put in effort to study? Maybe they are insecure, they dont want pple to label them as muggers. Well, perhaps then they can work at Mediacorp next time or even play a role in Jack Neo's new film, I Not Stupid 3. Seriously, what wrong is there with studying hard for good grades?
These type of friends are far from encouraging, they make hard work sound like a crime. I should try to avoid talking to these pple lest i become even more judgemental about them or even worse end up an actor like them.
Anyone has any creative idea why these pple act this way?
